Josephine (ジョセフィン Josefin?) is a character from Deception III: Dark Delusion, and she only appears in Chapter 17. Presumably, she was well acquainted with Reina. As a Burganfadan, Josephine was kidnapped and presented before King Frederick, awaiting a fate similar to Reina's. The king remarked that she was nothing like Reina—a remark that certainly piqued Josephine's attention—but he approved of her regardless before sending her to her cell.
If Reina decided to go save Josephine, she would have made it to the cell, somehow allowing her friend to escape. She managed to escape, despite Miguel assaulting Reina. Placed in the cell herself, Miguel left Reina with a taunt, congratulating her for helping her friend before adding, "But who knows what'll happen later."
On the next chapter's summary, it was stated that Reina failed to save Josephine. Assuming that this happens regardless of whether or not Reina chose to save her, based on what Miguel said, he could have been Josephine's killer.
