Velguirie (ヴェルギリエ, Verugirie^?) is the protagonist of Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess.

She is the “Nightmare Princess” humans see in their dreams. She is the daughter of the devil and has lost her original power due to a long sleep.

Personality

Velguirie is a cruel and sadistic person. She seems to enjoy watching the people she trap suffer, exclaiming that their nightmares won't be over.

However she does seem to have other feelings, especially after hearing Reina's last words before being sacrificed where she seems to get lost in thought.

Appearance

Velguirie has pale skin. mainly showing on her chest and hip area. She has shoulder-length red hair that swirls slightly over her eye. She has a tattoo right above between her breasts.

Story

Endings

In Q99: The Last Sacrifice, Velguirie finally captures Laegrinna's soul after a final battle. As she has finally given all the sacrifices to her father, she offers herself up as the final sacrifice, putting herself back to rest as her father presumably awakens.

In Q100: Beyond the Nightmare, Kanata Fuyuno confronts Velguirie as she finally understands Velguirie's purpose. After a long battle, Kanata finally defeats her. As she wishes to go back to the real world, Velguirie's persona disappears as her purpose has finally been served.

In one of the other Princesses' quest, Q90: To the Dark Side, Laegrinna get's to enact her revenge against Velguirie, pitting against each other once again. However this time, Laegrinna defeats her and presumably takes her soul.
