Zamur (ザムール Zamūru?) is a character from Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness. He is a magician that served King Zemeris, and later Yurias. He is one of the main antagonists.
History[]
During the game, he had enough of Yurias's obsession over Fiana. Then as Yurias's dying words reached the protagonist, in a dying state on the altar entrance, Yurias felt regret for his evil actions but he claims that he still loves Fiana, but he must never ressurect the devil and to put an end to this massacre by killing Astarte.
Zamur was outside the castle, claiming that there's no point ruling a destroyed world and with his apocalyptic powers he can control Satan himself.
Near the end of the game, Zamur reveals that he is the one that saved the Prince of Zemekia from the gallows and created Astarte to manipulate him, so he could gather the Legendary Treasures in the Castle of the Damned and revive the Lord of Darkness. After his defeat, Astarte kills Zamur and says that she was only using him.
Despite encountering the last time, his visitor description didn't change at all regardless of revealing of his true colors to the protagonist of ressurecting the devil himself.
