Zemeris (ゼメリス Zemerisu?), also known as King Zemeris (ゼメリス国王 Zemerisu-kokuō?) is a character from Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness. He was the king of Zemekia before his assassination.
History[]
When his son, the Prince of Zemekia, returned from a long journey to Angelio to visit Fiana, the king decided it was time for him to take over his place, as he was growing too old. However, he was suddenly killed by the prince's sword, which mysteriously appeared above the king and fell straight into him. The prince's brother, Yurias, accused him of killing their father, and he was sentenced to death.
Zeremis was killed as part of the conspiracy made up of Yurias, Zamur (who was most likely responsible for killing the king, but it wasn't brought up in much detail afterwards) and Astarte. With Zemeris dead and the prince's disappearance, Yurias became the new king of Zemekia.
